Grassroots Festival

Grassroots is finally over, and my dad and l had so much fun! The bands, including the Sim Redmond Band, The Town Pants, Hee Haw Nightmare,The Grady Girls. Driftwood, Locos Por Juana, Samite, Sammy Kershaw, The Double E, The Believers, Donna the Buffalo, ,Preston Frank and
His Zydeco Family Band,Thomas Mapfumo and the Blacks Unlimited, and many, many more, were absolutely amazing! The Outpost,an 18 and under alchohol free tent, had an great open-mic night Friday. The food was delicous, the activites, including everything from hula hoop making to face painting and henna tattoos, were awesome and fun! We had a blast, taking almost 5,000 pictures, taking advantage of our all acess pass, we were right up by the all the bands, which was a great place for taking even better pictures. The Green Room Lounge was filled with different muscians everyday doing interviews and singing their songs almost all day, and people stopping to check out the music. Our first Grassroots ever left a positive impact and wonderful memories! Thanks to everyone for a great Grassroots experience!!!
